A view of the Inner Canyon from the bottom of the Warner Route in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

I feel as if this photo is missing something, but I am not quite sure what. Any critiques or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I've been there but on the top of the canyon. It is not less impesive in the bottom.

It is missing something, but I can't really tell what either. It's very nice; I do love the contrast, but I agree that something is missing. Hey, one of those rocks in the front reminds me of an alligator! Just a bit from the shape...

Haha, pretty sure no alligators were in there. I think what is missing is that there is no sense of scale. Looking at the photo you can't tell just how huge the cliff walls are (about 3000 vertical feet). Maybe if I had a human in the foreground so that you could tell how big everything else was, it would tie it all together.
